The Physics: “Free Fall”
Gravitational Acceleration
The biggest debate in the whole investigation comes down to simple physics. Normally, when a building falls, it hits the steel and concrete floors below it. That resistance should slow it down.
The Official Admission
2.25 Seconds
In their final report, the government agency NIST admitted a startling fact: for a period of 2.25 seconds, Building 7 fell at “absolute free fall.”
The Implication
Instant Removal of Resistance
This is huge because physics tells us that for a building to fall that fast, all structural resistance below it, every column and beam, must be instantly removed across the entire width of the building at the same moment.
